Hablar con Santa
Parents buy a call and Santa phones their kid, with an AI voice that asks about their wish list.
The idea
A seasonal product for Mexican parents: buy a pack of calls, type your kid's name and phone number, and Santa calls them in Spanish.
What I built
- The voice call flow: Santa's personality is a long, carefully tuned prompt that spends most of the call on the kid's wish list, asks follow-up questions about each gift and never breaks character.
- Credits that can't be lost: a credit is taken before the call is placed and refunded automatically if the call fails.
- A gift summary for parents: after each call, a structured summary of what the kid asked for is emailed to the parent.
- Stripe checkout without forcing an account, so buying a call takes a minute.
What's next
For the next season I'm moving off the current voice provider and working on a video call with an animated Santa character.
